Up and running in three steps

Download and install

Pick Mac or Windows above. The first time you open it, follow the short steps below.

Open Trader Workstation

Log in to your own Interactive Brokers account in Trader Workstation or IB Gateway, with API access turned on.

Paste your access key

Your manager sends you a private key. Paste it into SwingSync, press Start, and trades begin copying.

Opening it the first time

Mac

  1. Open the downloaded file and drag SwingSync into Applications.
  2. Open SwingSync. If your Mac says it cannot check the app, press Done.
  3. Go to System Settings, then Privacy & Security, scroll down and press Open Anyway.
  4. You only do this once.

Windows

  1. Open SwingSync-win.exe from your Downloads.
  2. If a blue window says Windows protected your PC, press More info, then Run anyway.
  3. You only do this once. SwingSync updates itself after that.

Your account stays yours

SwingSync runs on your own computer, next to your own Trader Workstation. Nobody else holds your login or your money. Your manager only shares what was traded, and you can stop copying at any time.
